so master_kogane has this fabulous icon meme going, and i love so very much to talk about my babies!

so i saw several versions of "i'm whatting your what in your whatever" going round and thought, 'neat', took the pictues of my (then) Wet Tiny Green Monster in my bathroom, sensed through the force that i would soon be in a serious hot water crisis ... et voíla!

so i was on that blindingly beautiful beach in queensland, australia, the only thing that spoiled the fun being not being allowed to go into the water because of the stupid jelly fish whose mating ritual is so ferocious that no human can survive it. and yet, there was something exceedingly sweet about the depiction of a jelly fish making love to a human that i declared jellyfish/human to the otp of my (second) australian summer (the only thing i added to the sign were the letters o, t, and p.)

so it's like in those old skool black-and-white si-fi movies where they have like a light bulb which is like the coolest thing ever since the invention of the bottle opener...

so i was fooling around with that picture and one setting of the texture totally freaked me out. looks like there's blood running down dumbledore's face and remembering that he died near summer time... (he knew [and seemed to be the only one at that point] who did what exactly. AND HE STILL DIIIIED!!)

so a long time ago i was going to see how hard i can push that picture of luke without breaking it. i was quite pleased with the outcome. also, i still have a teenage crush on luke the size of a universe.

- so i ganked the picture of the that darling little puppy that was pretty cute on itself, but boring. and i came up with this. sirius' animagus being a dog and all. get it? yeah, well.

2. I've never been to Australia, but that sure makes me want to. I feel the need to write some jellyfish/human porn. Clearly, I should not be allowed to the internet!

3. It makes me think of Mystery Science Theater 3000, alas it is awesome. And though I'm normally not very fond of pink, I think it's really fitting for the icon.

4. That's actually a texture? Wow, that's scary! I like fooling around with my photoshop too (friend gave it to me not so long ago, so I'm still a noob, lol). alas, I know what you did last summer~

what, after my sekrit identity was revealed in our conversation i thought there's no sense in hiding anymore. and i FEEL SO FREE NOW! ::wiggles::

usually i set a texture to overlay or screen, depending on how bright/how much contrast i need it, and then take it from there. go on playing around with your ps! it's great to see how you get better and better. and then some betterer. ;)

have you tried online tutorials? they can be very useful and every time i follow one of them i learn something new because everyone has their personal style and magic tricks.

That would be an option but I have to find one for the Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended Portable, I think they are differently aufgebaut (brian haz the dumb :D)!
