Yahoo is shutting down delicious

THIS IS A FUCKING DISASTER!



There are alternatives (Diigo, pinboard.in) but delicious pretty much is exactly what I want and need. It has the firefox plugin, tag bundles and-and! All my fic recs and art recs and meta stuff are there and I have hundreds of fics/art/blogs/private stuff/MY ENTIRE FUCKING ONLINE LIFE on my to-read/whatever list easily accessible with one click! *wails*

Balls. I got my delicious account only a year or so ago and now i don't know what to do without it. Someone, HOLD ME. D:

Well, I guess there are ways to export the bookmarks and I shall just be very very strong... *weeps* Is anyone else on delicious, anyway?

Seriously, this sucks balls. I got my delicious account about a year ago as well and I can't imagine handling my fic bookmarks any other way. Also, I've tagged something like 2000 entries in a fic comm AND IF THAT STUFF DISAPPEARS ME AND YAHOO WILL NO LONGER BE ON SPEAKING TERMS FFS.

No problem! I felt it's my fannish duty to inform my dear flist of these shocking news in case they haven't heard and rely on delicious, too. You might also want to read rageprufrock's newest entry in which she writes about how losing delicious hurts not only for practical reasons but because it is A THING OF BEAUTY FILLED WITH BEAUTIFUL THINGS MILLIONS OF PEOPLE COLLECTED, TAGGED, AND SHARED, AND CREATED SOMETHING THAT IS MORE THAN A COLLECTION OF HYPERLINKS.

Diigo looks very promising to me (and one can import all their delicious bookmarks including tags), and I have heard good things about Licorize.
