generally speaking, it must be very confusing for john, not knowing with which part to show off first - head!chest!thighs!GUNNN!long legs! but for rodney it grows slightly annoying because he just wants john (and is a bit concerned sometimes about how hot he really looks but then again, the occasions on which he's allowed to show off with his pretty boy make well up for it...)

anyway, i know which episode you mean, but the guy looks like he's wearing jeans; oh my sore eyes, swollen from all the weeping over john's beautiful hairy skin!
