i've gone paid!!! yay.

sadly, that's all the good news i've got today...

with this step came the desire for a new layout to show off my new paid-account-edness. and that's why i put it off for so long; i *knew* it would end with me crying into my coffee.

with the styles that are based on expressive you get nice headers, an elegant, simple layout, the tags in a cloud, and so on. but you can't customize the colours and font. :( and that applies to most stylesheets. with smooth sailing you can do all sorts of wicked things, but i feel the basic layout is a bit cluttered...

and all that hassle is even without wanting to add my own header! umph.

so i just (almost) randomly picked this one. the fact that it's got a skull helped though.



oh but hey. i still get to upload 90 more userpics! :D

What did you pick? I have to renew mine soon, and I think I got lost in translation @.@

you mean the layout? it's Day of the DEad (or Death maybe; doesn't make such a difference, i guess, once you're there.)

i found a tutorial that walks you through the css coding. but i don't wanna fabricate a whole new layout to get what i want! *whine*

but i gotta say i really like all the new shiny options you get with the icons: browsing in a pop-up window and searching the keywords and such.

oh, hang on! no, isn't snap that annoying window that pops up in lj every time i'd rather use piclens or similar, because I CAN ACTUALLY *DO* SOMETHING IN IT!

hat was refering to the browse-icons-option when you reply to a comment. there you can type a number/keyword/however you sort your icons, and don't have to search all your 100+ icons ;)

Journal -> Einstellungen -> Enable graphic previews on external links within your journal
