I was working on my CV which - PEOPLE WILL TOTALLY JUDGE! D: So I finished this. Which will also be judged, but my future kinda doesn't depend on it. :D

Also, this was initially meant as cover art for one of my playlists (yes, you guessed it: Kirk/Spock, surrounding the years in which Spock is off trying to get Jim out of his mind and Kirk spends wearing a :/ face) but... I don't know if anyone wants to listen to it. I mean, I've got them, there're marvelous songs that seemed to be made for them, but does anyone want to dl it??

Second: I would listen to the songs indeed. Can't promise I'd love them - but who could? - but I'm definitely interested. And I like the song you choose the text from already.
Third: Those wp are great. Sad and heart-wrenching but great. This entire Gol thing is very tough for me and it makes my stomach tick each time I think about it...

May I ask what building it is? It looks familiar and I probably look very stupid should everyone recognize it but me...sorry. And does it have a meaning for them?

YOU! YOU! I thought about you the other day (with a touch of guilt tbh, I'm way over the time I said I'd get back to you). So, are you still interested in hearing my thoughts on yaoi creating graphics?

#3: Thank you! That was pretty much what I was going for. I can't even tell you anymore what made me start working on the wp-- oh wait! 'Course I do! *facepalm* The fanmix! Anyway, sometimes I feel a bit emotional and express my profound existentialist angst through art. :D

HAHAHAA! I don't even know. This (http://pics.livejournal.com/coffeestudies/pic/000bcbwr) is the original image; if it looks familiar, maybe you can identify it (if so, let me know :D ) It's kinda in ruins so I guess post-war? OMG maybe it's even in Berlin - I'D BE SO EMBARRASSED UGH.

As for meaning, well, it looked nice? Okay, actually it felt right. The ruins seemed appropriate for the state of their relationship and it lends the image a certain sense of... epicness? If I say so myself. :D

Don't worry - it's totally okay and I've been busy myself too. But yes, I'd be still interested, and even more so now that I've seen your new works...
But I'm going on holiday next Friday (Closet Con in Leicester and some days in England) and if you don't mind I'll get in touch when I'm back and see if you've got some time.

I know about feeling emotional and I think you've found a good way to express it. That's one reason why I'd like to learn more... :)

As for the building, I don't know. I think it reminded me indeed of the Französische Dom - especially the figure on top - but the original image doesn't give me that Berlin feeling...who knows.

It does look very nice and I understand the epicness. Also it could be a sign of history - a sign for the depth of their mutual history and a metaphor that the base will always survive now matter how many storms they've encountered or will encounter. Or that history was always a common interest for them. Or that they pick up the ruins and make their future a shining one.(*cough* sorry!! I might have gotten carried away here...)

Anyway: it does fit and I like the atmosphere of it very much.

Your thoughts on the ruins are actually pretty good. And really, your theories are as good as mine; that's the fun in throwing something vague/undefined in there: everybody's gonna interpret it in a way they see fit. :D

Ah, you know what? I was looking at them for quite some time obvs, and did notice that there's something different about these wallpapers but couldn't quite put my finger on it. And you nailed it! They do look a bit like they were painted, don't they? WELL DONE, ME! :D
